Mary Moore is the creative force behind the Santa’s Elf Series©, a beloved collection of children’s books that blend whimsical poetry with enchanting illustrations. As the illustrator and publisher for North Pole Press, Mary brings holiday magic to life—one elf, one rhyme, and one heartfelt story at a time.
After a successful career in finance, Mary traded spreadsheets for storyboards, mastering digital illustration with nothing but her mouse and an unstoppable imagination. What began as formatting books for her author-husband, Joe Moore, quickly blossomed into full-scale artistry: designing covers, crafting website visuals, and even minting collectible coins for their Naughty/Nice program.
For nearly two decades, Mary has also donned the red velvet as Mrs. Claus, accompanying Santa Joe on virtual and in-person visits that delight families across the globe. Their partnership is more than festive—it’s foundational. Joe often says he’d be lost without her, and anyone who’s seen them in action would agree.
A proud graduate of Pepperdine University, Mary continues to wear many hats with grace and grit. She illustrates new titles from Joe’s poetry, manages their online store, updates their website, and oversees every detail of their publishing company—all while spreading joy and preserving tradition.
